Meet the Author.
J.C. Martin writes his books and draws the pictures.
He grew up telling stories. He still does, now with a pencil, a tablet, and four rambunctious kids in the house. The boy on the cover is named after his son Bruce, who really did find a spider in his room once or twice.
J.C. lives in Southern California with his wife and their kids. Bruce and the Long Spider is his first picture book with more of Bruce’s adventures on the way.
